There is also a special section for ancient Greek drama films of all accepted kinds.

** You can submit the same film in more than one categories, for example as short fiction film or feature fiction film and ancient Greek drama film.

Epidaurus Film Festival (a.k.a. Epidavros Film Festival or Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Επιδαύρου) in Greece (European Union) started in 2022, by film and theater director and writer Christos Prosylis. It is an international film festival.

The Epidaurus Film Festival also, marks its relationship with the wider region of Epidaurus and Argolida, Greece. The Epidaurus International Film Festival, as announced from the first day, has a hybrid format.

Films and screenplays accepted by directors, writers, artists and producers from all over the world, with no restriction in the subject or the country.

Epidaurus Film Festival started on 2022 by film and theater director and writer Christos Prosylis, who is the Artistic Director and Managing Director of the festival as well. Epidaurus Film Festival, presented under the auspices, develop, network and support by London Greek Film Festival. Supported and presented also by Acting Code Institute.

Τhe 5th Epidaurus Film Festival 2026 will take place in Athens, Greece, on Autumn 2026. Festival activities, may also take place in Argolida region.

The International Film Festival of Epidaurus, following the standards of the London Greek Film Festival, aims to become a Greek international meeting point for cinema from all over the world. It also aims to connect ancient Greek drama with cinema and the other arts.
